Description
Position Goals
RobotShop.com, the global leader in robotics e-commerce, is looking for a versatile, curious, and bold developer to elevate our systems with AI, automation, and custom-built tools.
We are searching for a full-stack “wiz” who is passionate about emerging technologies, unafraid to take risks, quick to learn, and eager to build useful, powerful, and intelligent tools.
Tasks and responsibilities
What You Will Do (and it’s far from ordinary):
- Design, develop, and improve our internal/external tools (portals, APIs, integrations, etc.);
- Create concrete features powered by AI (LLM, AI agents, copilots, automations, etc.);
- Actively participate in project analysis – we want your creative input, not just code;
- Ensure quality, performance, and robustness;
- Test, debug, and document – efficiently, without bureaucracy;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and propose innovative (and useful) ideas;
- Clearly communicate your ideas to the team – we want to understand what you’re doing.
Requested Skills
Education
- DEC, AEC, or Bachelor’s degree in programming or software engineering (or an equivalent experiential background).
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of full-stack experience or equivalent;
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, and REST;
- Experience with databases (MySQL, MSSQL);
- Comfortable with GitHub Copilot, AI APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), and deploying AI agents;
- Ability to learn quickly and find concrete solutions even when things are unclear;
- Familiarity with Shopify? Bonus;
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, GCP, or other DevOps tools? Double bonus.
- And if you also master some of the following, triple bonus:
- Microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), design patterns, secure coding, and source control;
- Knowledge of NodeJS, JavaScript, React, Aurelia, jQuery, jQuery UI, CSS, HTML, PHP, Docker, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
This position is for you if:
-
- You want to build, not just maintain;
- You get bored in large, overly rigid companies;
- You dream of a job where you can do it all: backend, frontend, AI, architecture, automation…;
- You are autonomous, creative, curious, and also pragmatic.
Language
- Excellent French skills, both spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of English.
Attitude
- Productive;
- Responsible;
- Optimistic;
- Striving for excellence;
- Open-minded;
- A team player;
- Customer service-oriented (internal/external);
- Creative;
- Resourceful;
- Autonomous;
- Innovative;
- Willing to share knowledge with colleagues
Subordinates
- The Full-Stack Web Developer will not have direct reports, but must constantly collaborate with other team members. Teamwork and communication are very important for this role.
